Prior to Shift5, Kara was Director of Business Development at Data Systems Analysts where she provided capture, proposal, and account management across a wide range of federal and Department of Defense customers. In her role at Booz Allen Hamilton, she provided subject matter expertise on the JCIDS process to enable capability development for USSOCOM and the Office of the Joint Staff Surgeon, developed Joint Concepts, and supported wargaming for capability development.

Collectively, the Shift5 team includes leading cybersecurity experts, accomplished analysts and developers, military and government backgrounds, authors, pattern-makers, and more. There's a lot that makes us unique, but together, we're united around the shared vision of solving the most pressing cybersecurity issues for trains, planes, and tanks and like to have fun doing it.
