Mike Detwiler

Senior Engineer

Mike Detwiler is a senior software engineer at Shift5, where he is responsible for systems software and firmware development for Shift5 Intake. Prior to Shift5, Mike was a principal software engineer for Forcepoint and RedOwl Analytics, where he was responsible for both systems software and DevSecOps development for a number of products. He has also worked as an embedded software engineer for Northrop Grumman, where he was responsible for systems software and Linux kernel module development on a System Security Processor. Mike holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Mike also served in the US Marine Corps as a Korean Linguist on a Radio Reconnaissance Team. Other than defending operational technology (OT) from cyberattack, his secret superpower is yoga.
